Sinhalese xenophobic State is ferociously waging military assaults on Eelam Tamil people as a final round. Srilankan Army Commander Sarath Fonseka has claimed that they will capture kilinochi from LTTE (Tigers from now). The brazenness of the Sinhalese army crop up from the support lend by the Indian State. Indian State has supplied modern radars, artillery and funds to the Srilankan Army against the Tigers. Manmohan Singh is maintaining a conspicuous silence to the widespread accusations, even after having fully exposed with the Indian military officials getting hurt in the counter attacks waged by the Tigers.
Tamilnadu Chief Minister Karunanidhi maintained his silence as usual and then washed away his hands by calling the Prime Minister on phone. The same Indian State which is supplying arms and ammunition to the Srilankan State called the deputy ambassador of Srilanka and expressed its ‘concerns’ which is a sheer mockery and nothing but adding insult to the injury.
From the beginning, Indian State has only approached the Eelam Tamils issue with the sole purpose of South Asian regional dominance. The aims and aspirations guide the acts of the State such as safeguarding the Indian comprador capitalist interests, political, economical and military hegemony of the Indian ruling classes and preventing the growth of nationality movements or revolutions in the South Asian region.
In 1983, Indira Gandhi tried to puppet the Eelam militant movements by supplying arms and training and thereby to dominate the Srilankan state. In 1987, her son Rajeev Gandhi sent Indian forces to Eelam against the Tigers as a punishment for disobeying the diktat of Indian State, as they refused to sign the Indo-Srilanka peace pact. The endowment of Katchatheevu to Srilanka and ignoring the hapless cries of Indian fishermen who routinely get killed by the Srilankan naval forces acts in line with its imperial intentions. Now the comprador capitalists like Tata and Mittal who enjoy the fruits of globalization need the whole south Asian market. The purpose of the concealed military assistance provided by the Indian State is to make the Srilankan Govt acknowledge the demands like making Indian Rupee as the currency of south Asia, South Asian Free Trade Area (SAFTA) and to impose ‘peace’ as desired by the ruling classes. The portrayal of Indian State as non-partisan and a supporter of Tamils, hiding all these facts will only be a treachery to the Eelam Tamil people.
The fascist tendency of the Tigers is the major reason for the setback of the Eelam Tamils struggle. But if Sinhalese army wins in this round of attacks, it will make the Tamils as secondary citizens of Srilanka forever. The ultimate intention of the Indian ruling classes is to morally weaken the nationality struggles in India by crushing the Eelam struggle.
Hence, widespread struggles need to be waged and focused not only in the context of opposing an unjust, xenophobic assault and supporting the self-determination right of the Eelam people but also in opposing the hegemony of India.

All ur understanding about the indian state and chacacters seems convincing, but what i failed rather you failed to understand is the 30 years people struggle against a monstrous srilankan state in eelam, its true that there was excessness on the part of tigers, but extending it to the level of calling it a ‘facist’ force whom you are appeasing? let eelam pople decid who is their leader, which movement should lead.. ii you are really serious about the nations right to self determination, confine it giving solitarity to the movemnt if not able to particibate in it. Pouring slander aganist a particular movement at this critical juncture in the name critics solves no one purpose. comrade, show one revolutionary movment in history which has not made any mistake, not in war with its rivals, this applies even to soviet union.

The same argument put forwarded by Maoists for which we have given reply in our earlier posts. first of all is criticism a slander? it’s a hypocrisy to harbor such a charge without validating the justness of the criticism.

This is the same we are saying for the past 20 years. RAW and Indian State cannot decide who should lead the Eelam Struggle. But Tigers took the arms and aid of RAW, an agency of Indian State which has waged a similar war denying the right of determination to Kashmir and Manipuri People. Why Tigers are the ladlas of Bal Thackrey other than for the declaration of muslim hatred? Why Tigers sent Greetings to Indian State in Kargil war while Kashimiris are fighting for the self-determination? What justification they can offer for the killings of Democratic Forces like Rajini Thiranakama, Yazh Book Shop Mani Annachi and others whose only mistake was to criticise the ‘excesses’ of Tigers?
you cannot simply say ‘excesses’ and move away when you claim to fight for people. you are accountable to masses and leading masses doesn’t mean you are the masters of them and you can do whatever you wish. The political blunders and at times Crimes of Tigers boomeranged and the pure militaryism undermining the political struggle led the Tigers to this crisis. sadly they dragged the people and history with them with blood gushing all through the way.
sri lanka is an independent country! india is not the one and only country we deal with. we buy weapons from countries like Israel , pakistan and worlds coming super power china. remember how much money you guys made by selling us crappy indian shit ? the war is coming to an end thanks to the hard work of our sri lankan troops. go deal with ya kashmir matter india. we can look after our country.
